Three ongoing collaborations: a co-production (Dream of Belonging), a mentorship that became a co-production (Symphonie des profondeurs) and writing support (Chronica). His own films in development — L’Or d’Amazon and Montmartre, la nuit — have their own dedicated pages.

A work by Emi Sfard and Irena Bauman (That’s How The Light Gets In, Leeds): a dollhouse replica of the house where Janina Bauman, writer and Holocaust survivor, lived — explored in mixed reality, guided by her restored voice, in an imagined dialogue between the grandmother and her granddaughter about exile and belonging. Selected for the Venice Gap-Financing Market 2025 (Venice Biennale, Focus on the United Kingdom) and presented at the NewImages Festival, Paris. Targeted release: 2027.

“What if you were a whale?” Immersed in a dark, mysterious world, participants use their voices, like a whale’s echolocation, to light up the depths and discover the life within — until the noise of human activity interrupts the experience. Led by Cinzia Fossati (artistic direction) and Laurence Moletta (composition & sound design), first conceived in virtual reality, the work also explores a collective form in an immersive “cave” open to children. It is hosted in residency by AADN — Arts & Cultures Numériques (Lyon). Pierre-Alain Giraud supports it as a mentor within the Story Lab of the Migros Culture Percentage, with a working session at the Atelier Grand Nord (Québec); Novaya is co-producing the work.

A mixed-reality experience by Barbara Mydlak and Yann Deval, produced by Dark Euphoria: from paper made by hand — out of clothes, plants and past works — a world is born that participants, five to fifty at a time, shape together, from the gesture of recycling to that of creating. Pierre-Alain Giraud supports the writing and dramaturgy of the experience as script adviser.
