Pierre-Alain Giraud is a director of immersive works, documentaries, fiction and animated films. His works have been awarded and selected at numerous festivals — from Cannes and Sundance to Tribeca and the Venice Mostra. Co-founder of the production company Novaya, he co-directed Noire — Best Immersive Work at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival — then wrote and directed Playing with Fire, an immersive odyssey with pianist Yuja Wang, in competition at Cannes in 2026. He also designs films for the stage — theatre and music.
